- Go to the notification bar
- Long Press on the notification. A message box will come up
- Tap on App Info
- Uncheck Show Notifications
4. Disable Phone Animations
This is an excellent android tip if you want to make your phone run smoother and faster. For doing this you need to have access to Developer Options which you will see under Settings or About Device.

- Search for Auto Correction and tap on it

6. Add Multiple Google Accounts
I have seen many people who think that they can use their android with just one Google account wee that is not so. You can easily add multiple accounts and sync your phone to all.
- Go to settings
- Go to add account
- Select Google and set up another account
- After adding you will be asked to select what you want to sync the phone with from that account.
- Choose that data
You can add even more accounts using the same process.
7. Disable your Automatic App Updates
Some app updates can take a toll on your phones performance. Thus, it is better to turn updates off on them.
- Open Play Store
- Move to Settings
- Tap on Auto-update apps
- Select Do Not Auto-update apps.
8. Set your mobile data usage limit
It is essential to keep track of your data usage to save as much money you can. Thus android allows you to set data limits. Once you set, you will be notified after that limit reaches and data will be turned off.
- Go to settings
- Go to Data Usage
- Set your limit by moving the orange line to set your monthly quota
- Set the month from one particular date to another

- Go to settings
- Go to Apps
- Swipe to the right and look for the All tab
- Select the app you want to remove as default
- Tap on Clear Defaults
The same process can be used for setting an app as default. Just select the app and make it default for a function
10. Organize your home scree shortcuts with folders
If you are a heavy android user then you must have a lot of apps. Sorting them into folders on your home scree may prove efficient in handling them and making the phone run smoothly.
- Long Press on a shortcut you want to put in a folder and drag it on to another one of that
- A circle will appear around the apps. It indicates that a folder has been created.
- Tap on the newly created folder
- A small window will appear with your apps in it
The folder can be renamed, deleted moved into another folder and you can add more apps to it by dragging them to the folder.
