Ms. Cheney was born on July 28, 1966, in Madison, Wisconsin to former Vice President Dick Cheney (Father) and former Second Lady Lynne Cheney (Mother).

During her time in the position, Liz planned, coordinated, encouraged democracy, and tried to extend the educational opportunities and improve economic conditions in the Middle East and North Africa.

Liz Cheney signed on as one of three national co-chairs in June 2007 for Fred Thompson’s 2008 presidential campaign. After Fred dropped from the campaigns, she worked as the senior foreign policy advisor for Mitt Romney.
In July, 2013, Liz announced that she is planning to run for the Senate in 2014 from Wyoming as a Republican, however, dropped out of the race in January, 2014.

In 2016, Liz was elected with over 60% of the vote for Wyoming’s House seat. On November 14 of 2018, she was elected as the chair of the House Republican Conference for the 116th Congress. She intends to run for the presidency in the 2024 elections.
